Cindra Shields started her graphic design career in California in 1988. She became active in the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce where she was awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award in 2000.
In 2003 she moved to the Spokane area and brought her business, Graphic Business Systems to Spokane Valley. She has served on the board of the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber, the Inland NW Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners and Spokane Valley Rotary.
In 2006 she became the publisher of Remodel Spokane magazine. In 2007 the Spokane Home Builders Association honored her with the President's Award for Outstanding Service to the building industry.
She is active in the business community but the light also finds time for bicycling, kayaking and lots of family time with her two kids
